SuperDrive for Mac was primarily as an internally mounted floppy drive that was part of the Macintosh computer and there was an external hard drive manufactured in a Snow White-styled plastic case. But, there is never a Blu-ray drive and Apple also doesn't support for Blu-ray playback.

To use your SuperDrive, connect it to a USB-A port on your Mac*, then insert a disc.Make sure that the aluminum enclosure of the SuperDrive is facing up.
